Education
South Sudan has the world's highest proportion of out-of-school children. We are working to change that — one classroom at a time.
Learning for Every Child
Conflict, displacement, poverty, and gender discrimination have robbed millions of South Sudanese children of their right to learn. Our education program meets children where they are, providing accelerated, flexible, and quality learning opportunities regardless of prior schooling.
What We Do
- Run accelerated learning centers in conflict-affected areas
- Provide school supplies and uniforms to children
- Train teachers in trauma-informed pedagogy
- Support girls' education through targeted programs
- Create safe learning environments for displaced children
